Follow Friday – The ‘People You Want In Your Corner’ Edition
Wow, is it Friday again already? How did that happen. Sheesh. I really need to set aside more time to be on here updating.
This week’s Follow Friday are the friends on Twitter who are always there with a kind word, an offer of support, and help pick you back up when you’ve had a bad day. I might not mention these people very often, but they’re the reason I love Twitter.

- First off I’d like to give a big shout out to Micheal at UncorruptedHost. I first met him when we were transferring Heather Spohr’s site over to our servers after the Bluehost debacle, when he helped us out with some issues we were having with the transfer. After things calmed down, Heather’s webmaster moved the site to what we thought was a good host. Ummm…yeah, we were wrong. Surpass hosting shut The Spohrs Are Multiplying down without warning this week because of traffic. Booooo. So Micheal stepped up and within hours had Heather back up and running and is now building her a custom server so she will never, ever have this problem again. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. So if you’re looking for a good hosting provider, with great customer service, and really reasonable prices, go check out Uncorrupted Hosting.
- Hardly a day goes by when I don’t get a nice comment or something that makes me laugh from Laura (McCammon1). I always look forward to seeing what she’ll have to say.
- I love TheMaggers. She’s hilariously funny. And I totally wish she lived closer because I would hire her as my nanny in a heartbeat. In the mean time I’ll just drool over her Red Velvet Cupcakes
- Ashleigh (leighish) is my weight loss inspiration. We totally have to find a way to get her to BlogHer10 in NYC. Or someone needs to fly me down to Texas, cause just stalking her blog isn’t doing it for me anymore.
- And last, but not least, PB and Jazz. Her and I have a standing date to hit the Mall of America together one day. In the mean time, I keep up to date on her crazy life here.
Follow Friday – The Shopping Edition
That’s right, it’s Follow Friday time!
This week is the shopping and gifts edition. So get your credit cards ready.
- LYIS is a great twitter follow. And her esty store? DROOOOOOOOOOL. I mean, what little girl wouldn’t love this quillow? (I’m thinking this would make a great Christmas present for Vista)
- Deidra23 is my IRL (in-real-life) friend. Yeah, that means the poor girl has to actually put up with me in person. She also owns Johnson Originals with her hubby (Dragonflybytes). I love, love, love their jewelry. The only bracelets I wear are the ones she’s made for me. And if you have to wear a medic alert like I do, she makes custom, interchangeable bracelets that are WAY better than those ugly silver ones. I get people coming up and complementing me on them all the time.
- Another Twitter fav of mine is RJFlamingo. Witty and oh so funny. In addition to her Flamino Musings blog she also has an estate sale going on where she’s selling her MIL’s jewelry (that’s right mother-in-laws… this is why you should be nice to your daughter-in-laws. *grin*)
- And finally, Ladybugsgrama. I totally want her to adopt me. She is teh awesome. You can find her hiding out in the Vixen’s Den making aprons for her Apron Frenzy shop. Trust me, these aren’t your mothers (or grandmother’s) aprons. These are sexy. And she even has kids smocks that would be great for painting and crafts (think less laundry)

While furiously doing laundry, organizing camping supplies, and listing a 2 year old on ebay, I realized I hadn’t done my Follow Fridays.
